I’m John Wright, a photography enthusiast living in Dornoch, in the beautiful Scottish Highlands. I love exploring different styles of photography, from the energy and excitement of live music, stage performances and sporting events to the quieter moments found in nature and everyday life.
The Northern Highlands provide endless inspiration. From the dramatic landscapes and rugged coastlines of Sutherland and Caithness to the wildlife, changing seasons and atmospheric scenery of Ross & Cromarty and Inverness, there is always something new to discover and photograph. My interests are wide-ranging. I enjoy capturing wildlife in its natural habitat, the beauty of Scotland’s landscapes, the atmosphere of live events and the character of street photography.
Whether I’m photographing a musician on stage, an unforgettable sporting moment, a bird in flight or an interesting scene on the street, I’m always looking for those special moments that tell a story.
